I do apologize that you will be getting both of these letters at the same time. In the already short window we had to drop letters off, a wingman (not one of my personal ones, just someone from my flight) went ahead and did something quite stupid, and so we ran out of time to drop off letters. I was quite mopey because I wanted to get that letter out to you ASAP, especially since they won't be picked up until Monday now.
Anywho, today was actually quite a good day! We had SABC #3 & 4, and I only started to doze off during the 3rd one. We learned how to treat a victim for burns, as well as how to transport them.
I really do think Ssgt. Ramirez is starting to warm up to us. He has started to throw jokes around, and show us his more comedic side.
Sundays really are the best days for us. We still have to wake up early, but we just have to clean up our dorm and get ready for breakfast. After that, it can depend. The Church of Christ bible study starts at 0730, so I'm normally gone by 0700, then the service goes through until 0930. After that, we normally come home and work on PLA's (Personal Living Area) which generally just involves clipping strings (ALL STRINGS!!), refolding clothes, and re-marking clothes. We will have lunch and dinner through the course of the day, and if we've earned it, we'll get a phone cal in the evening. I really do love Sundays!
I do apologize for my letters always being so much shorter than yours, once we can start getting this place cleaned up fast enough, we will earn some free time, which means more time to write letters! Well, I am going to go now, the sound of snoring has make me sleepy. Goodnight!
