Letter #9 (July 20, 2010, 2220h)

Note: If I make any little comments in his letters, I'll make sure to put them in italics so you can tell the difference!

Lauren,

Hey gurl hayyy (it's an inside joke). Hopefully you've been receiving my letters for several days now, and know that I stay up a little later each night writing you notes by flashlight. I keep on having to randomly hide, thinking I hear my M.T.I. coming.

So how was your day? Hopefully it was great, bring a Friday and all. Fridays, sadly, don't mean much here. Sundays are the good days, and sometimes Wednesdays too (We get pizza at chow, but Wednesdays are also running days). I can't tell you how much I hope we keep our phone call for Sunday (although I guess you'll know whether or not I do by the time you yet this letter) (Btw, he did not call, so somewhere between Friday night and Sunday, somebody messed up -_-)

So, my day, although we got put on our faces about 4 times, has been quite nice! We had 2 classes over Air Force history, one over ethics, and one over code of conduct. And all four of them were with an awesome, HILARIOUS T.I. (Remind me to tell you about "Susie Socks.")

AND! We got our dog tags today! I was quite excited. Those are kind of a big-deal-military-thing, even if they are for when you die.

We also had a somewhat relaxing Airman's Time (Airman's Time is when our T.I. will cover general Air Force topics). If you had a good day, he will be laid back and joke around. Luckily, it was a good day today!

Well, I hate to cut this short, but it is a run day tomorrow. I'll talk to you soon though!

Bailey.
